Four Wolves named WGCA All-American Scholars

For the fourth consecutive year, the University of West Georgia women's golf team has landed at least one player on the Women's Golf Coaches Association's list of All-American Scholars, as the Wolves had four honorees named to the list this season. Lola Uribe earns the distinction for the fourth straight year, while Taylor Sarratt earns her third honor while Franziska Bremm and Layne Carter earned All-American Scholar honors for the first time in their career.

CARROLLTON, Ga. - For the second-straight summer, a former star on the diamond from the University of West Georgia is fulfilling a lifelong dream to play professional baseball, as Artemis Kadkhodaian has hit the ground running for the Arizona Rookie League AZL Angels after signing a contract to play in the farm system of the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim. Update: Kadkhodaian was promoted to the Single A Burlington Bees this weekend and blasted his first career professional home run on Sunday.
