ATLANTA, Ga. – After only 11 competing last weekend, UWG Track and Field will have a full squad competing this weekend. The Emory Invitational is a familiar one for the wolves but also a big one. Each event varies from 25 to 75 competitors. There won't be much conference competition but there will be competitors from all different divisions and rankings.
CARROLLTON, GA – For the first time this season a UWG track athlete has been honored by the Gulf South Conference as sophomore Nya Moses was named the GSC's Field Performer of the Week on Wednesday.
ATLANTA, Ga. – Eleven UWG track and field athletes competed against Division I competition this weekend at the Yellow Jacket Invite hosted by Georgia Tech in Atlanta, Georgia.
ATLANTA, Ga. – A few select Wolves are headed to the Yellow Jacket Invitational this weekend at Georgia Tech. This gives these athletes a chance to compete against Division I competition. There were qualifying marks and times that these athletes had to hit to attend this meet. Hammer will take place on Friday while all the rest of the events will take place on Saturday. The Wolves will take 11 athletes to compete in eight events. Here's the breakdown:
OXFORD, Ala. – The UWG track and field team traveled to Choccolocco Park on Saturday to compete in the Gamecock Quad Invite in Oxford, Alabama, competing against Division I and Division II teams in the meet.
OXFORD, Al. – The Wolves head to Choccolocco Park where Jacksonville State will host the GameCock Quad Invite. This is an invite only meet where only eight teams are competing in all events. Teams range from DI to NAIA that will be competing and scored.
ROME, Ga. – The second outdoor meet of the season didn't end in a second straight win for the UWG track and field team, but the Wolves did finish a solid third place with 93.5 points on Saturday at the Victor Icebreaker Duals at Berry College in Rome, Georgia.

COLUMBUS, Ga. – The UWG track and field team began their championship outdoor season with a bang on Saturday, placing first with 191 points at the Cougar Invitational in Columbus, Georgia.
CARROLLTON, Ga. – The West Georgia track and field team has completed their indoor competitions to preface the official start to the outdoor season, and they will kick the season off in Columbus, Georgia at the 5th Annual Cougar Invite on Saturday. This meet is the Wolves' traditional start to the season to get back into the groove of outdoor competition.
EMERSON, Ga. – The West Georgia track and field team competed in their second and final indoor meet of the season on Thursday at the Dunamis Super Meet in Emerson, Georgia.
CARTERSVILLE, Ga. – The Women's Track and Field team is headed to the Dunmais Super Meet in Cartersville, GA at the LakePoint Champions Center. This will be their second indoor meet of the year before they kick off their outdoor season. Coach Ryan Bailey is excited to have two indoor meets this year as a type of "preseason" competition.
