CARROLLTON, Ga. - The University of West Georgia football program will be on the road for the first round of the 2017 NCAA Division II Playoffs this weekend, and the Wolves' contest against Virginia State will begin at 1 p.m. in Ettrick, Va.

The Wolves enter the 2017 playoffs as the 7th seed in Super Region 2 and will take on the Virginia State Trojans, the second-seed in Super Region 2 this weekend.

Tickets for the game will be $15 for general admission in Rogers Stadium and student tickets will be $10 with a valid West Georgia student ID. All ticket sales will take place on game day, with the box office to be opened at a time yet to be released by Virginia State.
