CARROLLTON, Ga. – Three non-conference games remain on the UWG women’s basketball schedule and the first of those is set for Tuesday, December 3 at The Coliseum as the Wolves host the Carver Bible College Cougars at 5:30 p.m.

The Wolves are off to a 5-1 start to the season with one of those wins coming in GSC play. West Georgia will look to improve to 6-1 as they welcome a 1-6 Carver team to The Coliseum to get back in the groove after the Thanksgiving break.

Ashley Lee continues to lead UWG in scoring, as she is one of four Wolves averaging double-figures. Lee, a Memphis native, scores 13.7 points per game, and also leads in rebounding, pulling down 7.5 boards per game. Fellow senior Edley Drawhorn scores 12.5 points per game, followed by Taylor Brown who adds 12.2 points per game and Siera Carter at 10.3 per contest.

West Georgia is coming off of a dominating 99-65 win over Oakwood last Monday, and redshirt freshman Mariah Holder went off in the game, scoring 22 points to lead all scorers and post a career-high. Holder was 8-of-14 from the field, including five three-pointers as the Wolves poured in a school record 17 three-pointers as a team.

Carver is 1-6 on the year, and is coming off of a 92-55 loss to the Miles Golden Bears last week.

Tip-off for Tuesday’s game is set for 5:30 p.m. from The Coliseum. Fans can follow via live stats or live video, both of which are linked above. Fans are invited to bring unwrapped toys as part of UWG Athletics Holiday Toy Drive.
