Position: Executive Assistant to Head Coach

As a coach’s daughter, Munday Tatum grew up with a passion for the game of football. That passion has led her to a key role on the staff of the UWG Wolves’ football program.

Tatum is in her first season as Executive Assistant to head coach David Dean. That title covers only a fraction of Tatum’s contribution to UWG Football. She handles all office duties for Dean and the coaching staff. That includes office duties regarding purchasing, scholarships, recruiting, correspondence, and much more.

The position at UWG is not Tatum’s first with an intercollegiate football program. She came to Carrollton following 15 months as a graduate assistant in football operations at Georgia Southern. Before that, she served a stint in Statesboro as football recruiting assistant for GSU. Tatum also worked in athletics an undergrad, serving as a student assistant at Georgia College.

Born in Morehead, Miss., Tatum is the daughter of Jeff Tatum, the head football at Mississippi Delta Community College. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication/Media Studies from Georgia College, and a master’s degree in Sport Management from Georgia Southern.
