A familiar name returns to UWG this fall. Former Wolves defensive back Ken Hale joins the staff, working with the defense and serving in the role of video coordinator.
A native of Atlanta and a graduate of Stephenson High School, Hale played his senior season for UWG in 2010. He had 24 tackles on the season, including one for a loss, and had a pass interception. However, Hale’s biggest play for UWG occurred in a 28-21, regionally televised win over Harding. His 57-yard scoop-and-score on a Bison fumble on the first play of the fourth quarter was a key play in the Wolves’ win.
Before his season with the Wolves, Hale played at rival Valdosta State. He was a member of coach David Dean’s 2007 national championship team with the Blazers.
