CARROLLTON, Ga. – The UWG women’s cross country team finished in 11th place today at the JSU Foothills Invitational in Oxford Lakes, Ala. in the 5K race hosted by Jacksonville State.

 

True freshman Mackenzie Morse led the Wolves once again, as she has done in each race this season, ­­finishing in 44th place individually with a time of 20:40.10.

 

Alaina Burnside finished in 60th place individually as she finished with a time of 21:12.50 and was eight spots in front of Alexis Smith who was in 68th with a time of 21:21.70.

 

In 96th place was Bailey Roberts who finished with a time of 22:15.30 and was just second in front of Shelby Parsekian who was in 98th with a time of 22:30.00.

 

Amie Wimberley finished in 102nd place with her time of 22:36.50. In 105th place was Kimberley Dezwart with her time of 22:53.50. Tiffany Braswell rounded out the lineup for UWG, finishing in a time of 23:48.70 and in 119th place.

 

The Wolves will now look forward to their next meet as they are set to run at Berry College on October 14.
