Carrollton, GA – The UWG Wolves’ offensive onslaught in last weekend’s series sweep at Augusta has led to honors for a Wolves standout. Outfielder Cade Marlowe was named Tuesday the GSC Player of the Week for his role in leading UWG to three straight wins.

Marlowe, a junior from Tifton, was at the center of UWG’s attack in all three games. He had multiple base hits, multiple RBI, and multiple runs scored in each game of the Augusta series. Marlowe’s stat line includes 14 at bats, eight hits, six runs scored, eight runs driven in, and two doubles. His batting average for the series was .571, and his OPS for the weekend was 1.433.

UWG puts its 3-0 record on the line Tuesday afternoon as the Bobcats of Georgia College visit Cole Field for the 2018 home opener. This weekend the Wolves remain home as West Alabama visits for a three-game, non-conference series.
