CARTERSVILLE, Ga. – The Women’s Track and Field team is headed to the Dunmais Super Meet in Cartersville, GA at the LakePoint Champions Center. This will be their second indoor meet of the year before they kick off their outdoor season. Coach Ryan Bailey is excited to have two indoor meets this year as a type of “preseason” competition.

The Day will start with shot put Thursday morning at 9:00am with hurdles, sprints, distance, and jumps to follow. The day will end with the 200m finals. There will be lots of familiar competition at this meet for the wolves, including Berry, Brenau, Clayton State, Reinhardt, and Emmanuel. The Wolves will also be competing against big GSC competitors Lee and Shorter.

Records were broken at the Emory Invite and looking to be broken again. Nya Moses broke her own indoor school record for the weight throw of 16.06m. Ashley Davis also broke her own indoor school record for the 400m dash with a time of 57.85. Andrea Foster set an indoor school record for triple jump at 11.42m at Emory.

This will be the last indoor meet before the Wolves begin their outdoor season and road to regain the GSC Championship Title.
