CARROLLTON, Ga. - The University of West Georgia Soccer program and head coach Stacey Balaam has announced the 2018 Summer Camp schedule, including the return of the successful High School Camp and one ID Camp set for late in the summer. Both camps will be held at University Field in the UWG Athletics Complex in Carrollton. 

The High School Camp is for high school athletes who are looking to improve their skill set on the pitch. Boys and Girls from rising 9th graders to rising 12th graders are welcome to attend, receiving expert instruction from Balaam, who is a former professional soccer player and current UWG head soccer coach. This year's camp will begin on Monday, July 9, and will conclude on Friday, July 13. Each day's camp will begin at 9 a.m. and will conclude at noon. Cost for the camp is $100 for the week. 

Camp Will Include:
Skill Instruction from college coaches
Competitive small-sided games
A variety of competitions
Full field games on a college field
Prizes throughout the week

In addition, UWG Soccer will host an ID soccer camp on August 5. Registration will begin at 9 a.m. and the camp will conclude at 5 p.m. Lunch, a campus tour, and a camp t-shirt are all included. The cost will be $125 per player and is available to rising 9th through rising 12th graders.  

The day will consist of introductions, warm ups, and a series of skill specific drills and competitive games led by Head Coach Stacey Balaam and UWG players. The camp will conclude with a "Becoming a Wolf" college talk to help prepare the athletes for the next level of their careers. Players will also have the opportunity to purchase UWG merchandise. Parents are welcome but will have to purchase their own lunch at the dining hall.
