CARROLLTON, Ga. – Kickoff times are now set for upcoming West Georgia Wolves’ football season. Each of the Wolves’ six home games are set kickoffs at 2 p.m. The start times for the five road games will vary.

UWG begins its 2018 season when Catawba (N.C.) visits University Stadium on September 1, beginning the Wolves’ 10th season of playing on Ra-Lin Field. One week later Limestone (S.C.) comes to Carrollton for the first ever football meeting between the two institutions.

Special events will be a part of each of this season’s four remaining home games. The UWG Hall of Fame Class of 2018 is set for induction at the September 22 contest vs. Florida Tech. The October 6 visit from North Greenville will be Staff Appreciation Day at University Stadium.

Alumni return to campus for Homecoming 2018 as West Alabama visits on October 20. The November 3 home finale vs. Delta State will mark Senior Day, the final regular season home appearance for UWG’s senior football players.

UWG’s 2018 road schedule features three night games. The first is September 15 at Albany State. Also, the October 13 visit to West Florida, and the November 10 regular season finale at Valdosta State are set for under the lights. All three games are scheduled for 7 p.m. (Eastern) kickoffs.

West Georgia’s will play but two afternoon road games in 2018. The first is September 29 at Shorter, a game set for 1 p.m. Also, the Wolves take on Mississippi College on October 27 in Clinton in a contest set for 4:00.

Season tickets for upcoming home schedule are now available at uwgsports.com. Current season ticket holders have until June 30 to renew their seats for the 2018 season. Beginning July 1 those seats will be made available to new ticket purchasers.
