A former local prep standout, Patrick Gamble returns to his hometown for the 2018 season. A former Central Lion standout, Gamble joins the Wolves’ staff this fall and will work with the UWG linebackers.
Gamble comes to West Georgia following a strong career as a defensive tackle at Georgia Tech. His biggest season as a collegian came as a senior in 2016; 53 total tackles, 7.5 quarterback sacks, and 10 tackles for loss. Gamble signed as an undrafted free agent with the New York Jets, and spent parts of the 2017 NFL season on the practice squads of both the Jets and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
