CARROLLTON, Ga. - Single-game tickets for all ticketed UWG basketball events are now on sale through the UWG Athletics Online Ticket Portal. West Georgia basketball opens Gulf South Conference play this week at Alabama Huntsville, and next Monday brings the first GSC home game of the 2018-19 campaign. 

The men's and women's teams come into the week with a combined record of 6-4, with the head coach Dave Moore and men's squad coming off of an 83-74 victory on Saturday afternoon against Johnson C. Smith. Head coach Scott Groninger and the women's squad have won two straight, including a 65-55 road victory last Tuesday at Fort Valley State. 

On December 3, the Wolves will host the first doubleheader of the year, taking on Shorter in the first Gulf South Conference action in The Coliseum this season. The women's game will begin at 5:30 p.m. on Monday evening with the men's game set for 30 minutes after the conclusion of the women's contest. Between games, the first Junior Wolves event at basketball this season will take place, as young fans are welcome to join athletes from across the West Georgia sports to decorate holiday gingerbread cookies on the concourse. 

Single-game general admission tickets can be purchased online up until two hours before tipoff of the women's game for $8 and $13 for reserved chairback seats. Walk-up cost at the ticket booth on gameday is $10 for general admission tickets and $15 for reserved chairback seats. Junior Wolves members receive free admission when wearing the Junior Wolves shirt sponsored by Superior Recreational Products and all children 5-and-under are admitted free.  

In addition, Monday night begins the annual Toy Drive, as fans are encouraged to bring unwrapped and unopened toys to provide for children in need in the Carrollton community. UWG Athletics is thankful for the support given during the most recent Can-A-Thon, and look forward to partnering with fans to provide hope and happiness during the holiday season.
