CARROLLTON, Ga. – Just five games remain on the UWG Women’s Basketball schedule and just two of those are on the road and the Wolves will knock one of those road games out tomorrow as they head to Montgomery, Alabama for a 7 p.m. contest with Auburn Montgomery.

The Wolves are coming off of a 1-1 week with a win over rival Valdosta State and a loss to West Florida, both at home. West Georgia is now 12-9 overall and sit at 7-8 in the Gulf South Conference. Auburn Montgomery has struggled this season, going 3-20 so far with a 2-13 record in GSC play.

In West Georgia’s last game, the Wolves got double-figures from three players, including a career-high 21 from senior Kilah Nixon. The Brunswick native hit five three-pointers on eight attempts and was a perfect four-for-four from the charity stripe. Aysha Harris chipped in with 17 points while Jessica Brown also scored in double-figures with 12.

Harris continues to lead the Wolves’ offense with 12.3 points per game while A’Kia Harris leads in rebounds with 7.4 per game.

AUM’s scoring leader is Jordan Brewster who scores 15.1 points per game and has hit 90 three-pointers this season. AUM’s three wins came against teams that UWG has defeated this season: Fort Valley State, Mississippi College, and Shorter.

Tip-off from Montgomery is set for 7 p.m. EST as the Wolves and Warhawks meet for the first of two meetings this season.
