CARROLLTON, Ga. - The Carrollton area has been saturated with rain in the early part of the 2019 calendar year, and rain is expected to continue for the next few days, forcing UWG head tennis coach Michael Coleman to postpone Tuesday's scheduled tennis match with Lee.

The Wolves opened the 2019 tennis season 10 days ago in Memphis, Tenn., going 2-2 against four opponents over the course of three days. Those two wins included a victory over Christian Brothers in the first Gulf South Conference match of the year. UWG and Point were supposed to play last Tuesday, but the rain forced that match to be postponed as well.

This week's postponement will be until March 1, when the Lee Flames will come to Carrollton at 2 p.m. to take on the Wolves at Sunset Hills Country Club. Coleman and the Wolves will now play next on Monday, February 25, taking on Wallace State in Hanceville, Ala.
