CARROLLTON, Ga. Once again, the UWG Football team is hosting a prospect showcase at University Stadium. The 4th Annual UWG Football Showcase will take place on Wednesday, June 5, 2019 with two sessions taking place.

Session One begins at 8:30 a.m. and runs until 12 p.m. and is for offensive linemen, defensive linemen, linebackers, and running backs. Session two, featuring quarterbacks, wide receivers, tight ends, defensive backs, and specialists will begin at 2 p.m. and run until 5:30 p.m.

The camp will be administered by the UWG football coaching staff along with guest coaches from other institutions from Division I institutions. This year’s showcase features coaches from Texas, TCU, Samford, Mercer, Liberty, Illinois, Southern Miss, Florida Atlantic, Kennesaw State, and many others.

"This is a great opportunity for kids to get a chance to showcase their skills in front of some big-time programs, and it allows us to showcase our facilities and what West Georgia has to offer," said UWG head coach David Dean. "We are excited about expanding the camp into two sessions to give prospects a stronger opportunity to showcase their skills."

The cost of the camp is $50 per participant. Pre-registration through the UWG Athletic Registration page is recommended with a credit card payment, and walk-ups will have cash only accepted. This year's showcase will have two sessions. The UWG Football Prospect Showcase is open to any and all 9th-12th graders. Campers should bring a pair of tennis shoes as well as cleats. Quarterbacks will be required to bring their own footballs.
