MILLEDGEVLLE, Ga. – Solomon Komen continued his stellar 2019 season, winning the Bobcat Invitational 8K in Milledgeville while leading the Wolves to a fourth-place finish as a team.

 

Komen ran his fastest 8k time of the year, crossing the line in 25:07.2 winning his second race of the year in four races. The junior has now won back-to-back races dating back to his record setting performance at the UWG Invitational.

All seven of UWG's counters finished in the top-30. Behind Komen was freshman Michael Fabiano who had his second best career finish, coming in 14th with a time of 26:40.4.

The Wolves now set their sights on the Gulf South Conference Championships which will be October 26 at Montevallo.
