CARROLLTON, Ga. - Following the conclusion of this week's NCAA South Super Regional, the Women's Golf Coaches Association has announced their 2017 All-Region Teams, and sophomore Franziska Bremm was named All-South Region following a stellar season.

The sophomore from Colmber, Germany finished the season ranked eighth in the country in Division II and as the Gulf South Conference Player of the Year for the second consecutive season and was the 12th place finisher in the Regional at The Member's Club at Woodcreek this past week.

Bremm averaged 73.44 per round this season and finished in the top-10 in nine of her eleven events as a sophomore and also won two events individually. This season also saw Bremm post a school record round of 67 at the Bama Beach Bash.

The WGCA's All-Region teams are made up of the top-10 in each region. Bremm was one of two GSC players to be named All-Region joining West Florida's Paloma Vaccaro on the list.
