CARROLLTON, Ga. – The UWG Women’s Golf continues their season at the Lady Cougar Classic hosted by Columbus State University at the Country Club of Columbus on this upcoming Monday and Tuesday.


The Wolves are coming off a sixth place finish at the World Golf Invitational in St. Augustine, where they opened their 2018 spring season. Playing only 36 holes, the Wolves totaled with a team score of 624.


Franziska Bremm will look to lead the Wolves coming into the tournament as she currently leads the team with a scoring average of 74.50 in a total of 8 rounds. In the last tournament Bremm placed 11th to lead the Wolves.


Maria Torres, Layne Carter, and Jordan Daniel will make up the remainder of the lineup.


West Georgia will be facing a solid field with Young Harris, North Georgia, Montevallo, USC Beaufort and the host Columbus State.


The tournament will be held at the Country Club of Columbus in Columbus, Georgia. After Sunday’s practice rounds, the Wolves will play 36 holes on Monday at the par 72, 5,821-yard course and will return for the final 18 holes on Tuesday.
