CARROLLTON, Ga. – The season continues for UWG senior golfer Franziska Bremm as she was announced on Monday as one of the individual participants in the NCAA South Super Region to be held on May 6-8 in Cleveland, Tennessee.


The announcement comes on the heels of a big week for Bremm, as last week, she was announced as the Gulf South Conference’s Player of the Year for the third time in her career, and a four time member of the All-GSC First Team. Additionally, Bremm won the Miss Wolf award at last week’s WESTPY awards, given annually to the top all-around female athlete at UWG.


On the year, Bremm has won three of her eight events, and finished inside the top-10 of seven tournaments. Bremm most recently won individual medalist honors at the Gulf South Conference Championships for the second time in her career.


The NCAA South Super Region Tournament will be hosted by Lee University at Cleveland Country Club in Cleveland, Tennessee. The first round begins on Monday, May 6 and the tournament concludes with the third round on Wednesday, May 8.
