BLUFFTON, S.C. – It was a much tougher Sunday for the UWG women’s golf team as they shot a final round 305 at the Battle at Old South at Old South Golf Links falling from fourth to sixth.

A trio of Wolves shot final rounds of 75 as Jordan Daniel, Franziska Bremm, and Maria Torres all turned in the same score on the final day.

For Daniel, it was a top-10 finish after her Sunday 75 gave her 147 total after 36 holes, good for a ninth place tie. Bremm finished in 26th with a 151 total while Torres was one shot behind her with a 152 and in 31st place.

Layne Marie Carter couldn’t back up yesterday’s 73 like she wanted to, but fired an 81 on Sunday to finish with a 154 total in a 39th place tie.

Grace Gildner’s Sunday round of 82 put the junior in 68th place with a 162 total.

SCAD-Savannah took the team title with rounds of 290 and 292, while St. Leo’s Amanda Jakobsson took the individual medalist title with a 140 total.
