CARROLLTON, Ga. – Four UWG track and field athletes have been honored as USTFCCCA All-Region Performers as Andrea Foster, Nya Moses, Trisan Haughton, and Dawn McCaskill were named to the All-Region Teams on Tuesday.


The top-five individuals in each event from each region earned All-Region distinction, in addition to each of the member’s of the region’s top-three relay teams.


Andrea Foster is an All-Region performer in the heptathlon, an event she finished third in at the Gulf South Conference Championships in April.


Moses, the gold medalist in the hammer at the Gulf South Conference championships, set a school record in the event with a throw of 46.38m.


For Haughton, her honor adds an exclamation point to an already exciting week, as on Saturday the senior set a school record and hit an NCAA Provisional Mark in the high jump, clearing 1.7m and putting her in line for a potential trip to NCAA Nationals.


Dawn McCaskill’s performance at the GSC Championships in the 100m dash, landed her a spot on the All-Region team as her time of 12.00 seconds set a UWG record in the event and finished fourth in the championships.
