MONTEVALLO, Ala. – It was a 10th place finish to open the season for head coach Ryan Bailey and the women’s cross country team at the Falcon Classic at Montevallo this morning.


Top Performers

- UWG’s first runner across the finish line was Devin Helms who took 44th with a time of 21:12.70.

- Next across the line was Marion Bartilol who finished in 21:54.55, good for a 55th place finish. Just three second behind her was Lauryn Wilson with a time of 21:57.75 and a 58th place finish.

The Field

- A pair of Division I schools took the top two spots in the team standings with Samford taking the title and Alabama finishing second. Samford had four runners in the top ten.

- GSC foes Mississippi College, Alabama-Huntsville, and Montevallo took third, fourth, and fifth respectively.
