Season closes in Huntsville at GSC Tourney

HUNSTVILLE, Ala. - The Gulf South Conference tournament began on Saturday morning in Huntsville, Ala. at Charger Park, and the West Georgia Wolves ran into the GSC Pitcher of the Year Tyler Harrison, as the top-seeded Alabama Huntsville Chargers took a 5-0 victory over the Wolves in the first round of the 2017 tourney. 

Junior Danielle Easterly allowed just six hits in the game, but two of those left the yard and she walked in a run as the Alabama Huntsville Chargers moved to 40-14 on the year and the Wolves fell to 29-24 overall in 2017. West Georgia picked up three hits on the day off of Harrison on the offensive side of the ball, with Trinity Kirkland, Emily Miles and Katie Spinks each had a hit on the afternoon.
