DAHLONEGA, Ga. – A final round 282 was enough to propel the Wolves up four spots on the leaderboard as the UWG men’s golf team finished fourth at the UNG Fall Invitational at Achasta Golf Club in Dahlonega, Georgia.

 

Junior Adam Park had his best tournament since transferring to West Georgia as he capped off a solid week with a career low 69 to finish with a 510 total and notch a top-10 finish with an eighth-place tie. Park was tied for seventh in the field in par five scoring.

 

Newcomer Jack Brennan made a splash on Tuesday, wrapping up his first tournament at UWG with a final round 67 which was the third lowest round across the field on Tuesday. Brennan finished in a 23rd place tie.

 

Lucas Mota finished with a second consecutive round of 71, sfinishing with a 216 total and a 30th place finish. Rece Moore finished the tournament with a 75 and a 35th place finish. Blake Kollin’s 77 on Tuesday put him in a 79th place tie.

 

Carson Newman won the team title, coming back from a seven stroke deficit with a final round 276.

 

The Wolves next action is their annual home event, the Matt Dyas Invitational, set for October 21-22.
