CARROLLTON, Ga. – The UWG men’s golf team is back on the course early next week as the Wolves head to Dahlonega, Georgia for the UNG Fall Invitational at Achasta Golf Club.

Head coach Todd Selders will bring his team into their third tournament of the year with one change to the lineup from the first two tournaments.

The top four remain the same as Rece Moore will look to continue a sensational start to his sophomore season in the number one spot. In two tournament this season, Moore has recorded his first collegiate individual win and a seventh-place finish while averaging 69.25.

Another sophomore, Lucas Mota is in the number two spot for the Wolves and he will look to get back in form after an uncharacteristic 41st place finish in his last event. Three and four in the lineup will be occupied by Adam Park and Blake Kollin, respectively.

Rounding out the lineup, making his UWG debut will be Jack Brennan. The sophomore is from nearby Douglasville and will look to make an immediate impact in the lineup.

The majority of the field in the tournament hosted by North Georgia will be familiar for UWG as in-state squads Albany State, Clayton State, Georgia College, North Georgia, and Young Harris will be participating. UWG is the only team from the Gulf South Conference in the field.

Practice rounds are set for Sunday from Achasta golf Club with the first and second rounds scheduled for Monday and the final round set for Tuesday.
