CARROLLTON, Ga. – Head cross country coach Ryan Bailey has announced the 2019 schedule for both men’s and women’s cross country as the Wolves are set for six meets in the fall of 2019.

The Wolves open up the 2019 campaign, the third under Bailey, on Saturday, September 7 in Montevallo, Alabama at the Falcon Classic hosted by Montevallo.

Two weeks later, Bailey and the Wolves head north to Chattanooga for a Friday night meet hosted by UT-Chattanooga on September 20.

On Friday, September 27, West Georgia will host their annual home meet on campus in Carrolton, as both the men’s and women’s cross country teams compete in the UWG Invitational against a handful of other schools.

The final meet before the conference championships comes on October 12 in Milledgeville at the Bobcat Classic hosted by Georgia College.

The Gulf South Conference Championships will take UWG right back to where they began the season as Montevallo hosts the GSC’s Championship Meet on October 26.

West Georgia will then look to the NCAA Regional Championships on November 9. This season, the Regionals will be held in Lakeland, Florida.

Both men’s and women’s cross country will compete in the same schedule, with the women typically running their race just before the men’s race.
