CARROLLTON, Ga. - As the 2019 regular season winds down, the West Georgia Wolves completed the road portion of the schedule on Saturday afternoon in Huntsville, Alabama, as the Wolves fell 6-0 to the Alabama Huntsville Chargers in the indoor facility at the Athletic Club Alabama. 

Freshman Sofia Soltis pushed UAH starter Sarah Stearman in No. 2 singles, falling 6-4 in the opening set, then pushing the second set to a tiebreak where she lost 7-5. Soltis and No. 1 doubles partner Timia Commodore did not complete their doubles match, as the No. 2 and No. 3 doubles were already complete, giving the Chargers the doubles point. Commodore fought hard against UAH No. 1 singles player Stefanie Mehlich, falling 6-3, 6-2 in the match. 

In No. 3 singles, UWG senior Shelby Brown lost to UAH's Rinata Bauzhanova by a pair of 6-3 scores. Brown and doubles partner Meg Cummings lost 6-2 in the No. 2 flight, then Cummings fell 6-1, 6-0 in No. 4 singles. Jamie Bryant and Bailey McCammon lost 6-1 in No. 3 doubles, then McCammon fell 6-0, 6-1 in No. 5 singles. 

West Georgia will conclude the 2019 season with Senior Day at Sunset Hills Country Club on Tuesday afternoon, with first serve against the West Alabama Tigers set for 2 p.m.
