Carrollton, GA - The West Georgia baseball has their final nonconference game of the season on Tuesday as they travel to Dahlonega, GA to take on the 3rd ranked North Georgia Nighthawks in midweek action.

The Wolves and Nighthawks met once already this season with North Georgia taking the win by a score of 14-7. This matchup is a make up game from the contest being postponed earlier in the year.

West Georgia is coming off a tough weekend as the Wolves dropped two games to Gulf South Conference foe West Alabama. Game three of the series was rained out on Sunday.

North Georgia most recently swept Peach Belt Conference opponent Flagler College in Dahlonega, giving them the PBC regular season championship. They are currently 36-8 on the year with a conference record of 19-5.

The Wolves as team are hitting .281 on the year with 24 homeruns and 260 runs scored. Ben Utley leads UWG with a .343 batting average. He is ninth ninth in the conference with 39 RBI. Ryan Raper hitting .315 with three homeruns, eight doubles, and 27 RBI.

North Georgia is hitting .322 as a team with 401 runs scored on 504 hits. They have 100 doubles and 67 homeruns as a team. Michael Gouge is hitting .411 and leads the Nighthawks with 18 doubles. Connor Hoover leads UNG with 15 homeruns and 62 runs scored. He also has 15 doubles and 56 RBI.
