Carrollton, GA - The West Georgia baseball wraps up their regular season this weekend as they travel to Jackson, TN to take on the Union University Bulldogs in a three game Gulf South Conference series.

It was a sweep for the Wolves in the 2016 season as UWG took all three games from Union in a home GSC series last season. West Georgia most recently dropped a midweek game to 2nd ranked North Georgia on Tuesday evening.

Union most recently defeated the University of Tennessee at Martin in a nonconference home game. They are currently 30-16 on the year with a Gulf South Conference record of 17-12.

The Wolves as team are hitting .280 on the year with 25 homeruns and 263 runs scored. Ben Utley leads UWG with a .335 batting average. He is tenth in the conference with 39 RBI. Ryan Raper is hitting .313 with three homeruns, eight doubles, and 27 RBI.

Union is hitting .280 as a team with 281 runs scored on 417 hits. They have 86 doubles and 44 homeruns as a team. Nolen Milton is leading the Bulldogs in a plethora of offensive categories. He leads the team with a.354 average, 20 doubles, 12 homeruns, 44 runs scored, and 48 RBI.
