CARROLLTON, Ga. - The University of West Georgia baseball program will kick off the 2018 season with the 2nd Annual Baseball Leadoff Dinner, with featured speaker Sid Bream joining the Wolves for the evening of January 28 from 7 p.m. until 9 p.m .in The Coliseum on the UWG campus.

Head coach Skip Fite began the leadoff dinner to open the 2017 season for the Wolves, and it was a resounding success for the program, prompting the addition of Bream to this year's lineup. In addition, the Wolves will have special guest Charlie Culberson, one of the newest additions to the 2018 Atlanta Braves roster.

"This is such a fantastic way for us to be able to allow our players to meet the people in the stands in a personal way," Fite said. "We are excited about the opportunity to hear Sid speak to our players and look forward to the time we will have to spend with people who are close to the program before the season gets underway."

Seats for the 2018 UWG Baseball Leadoff Dinner can be purchased through the UWG Athletics Registration Portal. The $50 for the seat includes the meal and the chance to hear legendary Atlanta Braves' first baseman Sid Bream as he speaks to the fans and the team.
