CARROLLTON, Ga. – Sophomore sensation Franziska Bremm continues to garner postseason honors as she was named a First Team All-American by the Women's Golf Coaches Associations on Wednesday afternoon.

The sophomore from Colmberg, Germany finished the season ranked eighth in the country in Division II and as the Gulf South Conference Player of the Year for the second consecutive season and was the 12th place finisher in the Regional at The Member's Club at Woodcreek at the first of May.

Bremm averaged 73.44 per round this season and finished in the top-10 in nine of her eleven events as a sophomore and also won two events individually. This season also saw Bremm post a school record round of 67 at the Bama Beach Bash.

Bremm was the only GSC player to be named First Team All-American while three others made Second Team and Honorable Mention.
 
The selection is the second All-American honor in UWG women's golf history as Bremm joins Stephanie Bennett who was named Honorbale Mention in 2014-15.
