CARROLLTON, Ga. – Head coach Scott Groninger and the UWG women’s basketball team announced today another addition to the 2018 class as junior college transfer Ashley Lee will join the Wolves for the 2018-19 season.
Lee, originally from Memphis, Tennessee, comes to Carrollton after a two-year stint at Northwest Florida State, where she averaged 6.0 points per game with a 52.1 percent clip from the field 5.4 rebounds per contest last season.
“Ashley is a tough, hard-nosed stretch-four player that will be a leader on and off the court,” said Groninger. “Her intensity and competitiveness will be a big asset to the team,” he added.
