CARROLLTON, Ga. – The week of February 4-10 brings a large amount of excitement with UWG Athletics, as there is much to do on campus and around Carrollton this week with the Wolves. UWG football will host a National Signing Day party on Wednesday at Jefferson’s beginning at 6 p.m., followed by basketball on Thursday evening against VSU with tip-off at 5:30. Baseball will be hosting their home opener on Friday at 4 p.m. against Bellarmine, so make sure to stop by American Pie for Big Blue Friday at 11 a.m. before the game begins!
SIGNING DAY PARTY

BIG BLUE FRIDAY
Big Blue Friday returns to UWG Athletic corporate sponsor American Pie Pizzeria at 11 a.m. on Friday! Any West Georgia fan wearing blue will receive a coupon for a free pizza on their next visit. Get your baseball and softball posters, and the first 100 fans at Big Blue Friday will receive a free “Go Big Blue” T-shirt, compliments of Ozier Apparel.
The Wolves have a busy week coming up, starting with a big game for West Georgia basketball against the Valdosta State Blazers in an evening game on Thursday.
The women’s game will begin at 5:30 p.m., with the men’s game following at approximately 7:30 p.m. Both teams took on VSU earlier in the season, coming up with big wins for that night.

Baseball will take to Cole Field for their first home series of the 2019 spring season on Friday, February 8th against Bellarmine with first pitch at 4 p.m. The series will continue Saturday at 2 p.m., with the series finale starting at 1 p.m. on Sunday.
