To appreciate the contributions of Nick Price to the West Georgia football program, all one must do is scan the pages of the school's record book. No player in school history ever made a greater impact than did Price during his four years in a Braves uniform. Price's many school records include, among others, most yards rushing in a game, season, and career; most 100-yard games in season (7) and career (14), and most consecutive 100-yard games (5). He also holds the school record for most career touchdowns (42) and most points (252). A native of Chattanooga, Tenn., Price made his first impact as redshirt freshman in 1998. As a sophomore he earned the first of three consecutive All-Gulf South Honors, and in 2000 and 2001 he was named All-South Region and All-America. During his four seasons the Braves captured two Gulf South Conference titles and twice played in the NCAA Division II Playoffs. After his career Price served one season as a graduate assistant coach at UWG.
