Wolves Fall to Rival Lady Blazers
VSU ended their losing streak, but extends UWG's

Valdosta, Georgia - A Gulf South Conference member finally won a match in Valdosta, unfortunately for West Georgia fans, it was the Valdosta State Lady Blazers over the Wolves 3-1.
Valdosta State (10-13, 1-3) had also gone 0-4 at the VSU Crossover this past weekend, but the Lady Blazers broke their seven game losing streak, as VSU held on the first two sets before hitting .441 in set four to win the match.
West Georgia's
Andressa Martins, led all players with 23 kills and a .475 hitting percentage along with 13 digs; her twelfth double-double of the year. Senior
Amber Barnlund also had a stellar evening with a hitting percentage of .438 with eight (8) kills.
The Wolves are now 5-12 overall and 1-2 in GSC play. UWG travels to Pensacola, Florida this weekend to take on West Florida in a rematch from the 2007 Gulf South Conference championship game.
