West Georgia's 2009 Hall of Fame Class
Grace, Hannah and Brostrom honored

Carrollton, GA - The University of West Georgia Athletic Hall of Fame Saturday inducted its Class of 2009. Three new members were enshrined into the Hall, honoring their accomplishments at student-athletes at UWG.
This year’s Hall class includes Andy Hannah, a cross country star from 1996-99. Hannah is one-of-two male athlete ever at UWG to achieve All-GSC honors four consecutive years. Also inducted was Oyemon Grace, a linebacker for the UWG football team from 1996-99. Grace earned All-America honors following his senior season in a West Georgia uniform.
The Hall of Fame’s third new member is Jeremy Brostrom, a baseball star from 1998-2001. Brostrom was part of UWG’s run to a berth in the 1998 Division II World Series, and he was named GSC East Player of the Year as a senior in 2001.
With this year’s induction, 83 former players, coaches, administrators and others have been inducted into the University of West Georgia Athletic Hall of Fame.
