UWG Baseball Plans Alumni Weekend
Former Players invited to return for September Event

Carrollton, GA – After a successful first run in 2009, preparations are now underway for the second annual UWG Baseball Alumni Weekend.
Head coach Skip Fite announced Wednesday that this year’s event is set for September 24 and 25. Activities will again include a Friday golf outing, followed Saturday with the alumni games against current UWG players at Cole Field.
“We had a great turnout for last year’s alumni weekend,” said Fite. “We hope to have an even bigger turnout of our former players this year.”
Just as last year, there will no cost to play in the alumni baseball game. However, there will be a charge for the Friday golf outing. For additional information on the alumni weekend activities, all former West Georgia baseball players are asked to contact Fite via the form below.
