Football Day 3
The Wolves hit the field in pads for the first time on Monday, with the players wearing helmets, shoulder pads and shorts in the opening practice of the day. The session was a spirited one, with players enjoying the feel of contact for the first time this fall. The second practice of the day was more of a conditioning-type practice, with players wearing helmets and shorts.
Overheard at Practice
"I saw a lot of wide eyes out there today. What we want to see is narrow pupils; focus on your assignment and beating the man in front of you."

Volleyball Day 3
The Wolves hit the ground running this morning and are beginning to take strides on the floor. Head Coach Gary Lee is excited about his charges and the fact that there is a significant amount of healthy competition going within the team. To close out the morning practice, the team broke into two teams of six, battling it out in a two-on-two battle. Senior Jasmine Dotson was swinging strong, blasting kill after kill throughout the drill.
Overheard at Practice
"There may be times when we get down, but we never stop. Good things will come to us if we keep swinging and working hard every day."
Head Coach Gary Lee

Soccer Day 3
West Georgia had a day that was more full on the back end than on the front, as the Wolves had a short practice in the afternoon before an evening scrimmage. Head coach Marisa Kovacs felt strong about her team after the afternoon session and felt that the evening session would turn up the competitive intensity for her team.
Quotable
"This time of the year is like Christmas for me. When my team comes back and we get to prepare for another season is hard work, but I absolutely love it."
Head Coach Marisa Kovacs
