Beginning with the fall of 2009, three of West Georgia's athletic programs will have a new place to call home in the brand new UWG Athletic Complex. The muli-million dollar project is the next phase in taking West Georgia athletics to a new level. The complex is anchored by the new 9,500-seat University Stadium, home to West Georgia football. In one endzone is the athletics administration building, which is due to be completed in 2010. There are also football and soccer practice fields. Finally, the jewel of the complex is what sets West Georgia apart, as the Wolves opened the Women's Complex in October. The women's complex features competition soccer and softball fields, with a fieldhouse in-between the two. Inside the fieldhouse is a meeting room and locker and shower facilities for each team.
